This new 330-foot tower was constructed from 260 feet of cast-in-place concrete sections topped with 70 feet of structural steel. The project also included a three-story, 45,000 TRACON building at the base of the tower. The tower’s foundation design included a 900 cy mat which rests on underlying bedrock which is approximately 25 feet below the existing grade.
