Hilton Columbus Downtown

This 13-story, full-service hotel features 532 rooms (including 48 suites) and 22,800 square feet of meeting space, including a 12,000-square-foot ballroom. Located on the west side of High Street, the hotel is connected to the 1.7 million-square-foot Greater Columbus Convention Center via an architecturally-striking glass pedestrian bridge.

Skinned in a combination of glass, brick and metal panels, the hotel includes a specialty coffee outlet, an executive lounge, fitness center, pool, and a lobby featuring a large skylit atrium that will provide visitors with an indoor-outdoor feel. A new ramp connects the hotel to an existing 900-vehicle parking garage on an adjacent parcel.

A 400-seat restaurant is on the third story, or “roof,” of the podium. This also serves as the base for a soaring, 10-story atrium framed by the guestroom wings and capped with skylights that flood the space with natural light.

Named by New York Magazine as one of the city’s best places to stay, the 13-story hotel is in the heart of Columbus, within the historic Short North Arts District and the Arena District.

In continuing the City of Columbus’ commitment to sustainability, the Hilton Columbus Downtown earned LEED Gold certification, as well as Green Seal Certified from an operating standpoint. In addition to the focus on daylight, Sustainable strategies included high-efficiency boilers, building automation systems, daylight and occupancy sensors, low-flow fixtures that help conserve more than one million gallons of water per year, and use of local, recycled materials
