Columbus Zoo & Aquarium – Asia Quest

This project involved the construction of new indoor and outdoor exhibits to house several species from Southeast Asia including the Langur Monkey, Amur Tiger, Red Panda, Markhor, Muntjac and Sun Bear.

The four-acre complex includes a series of walls (ranging in height from 8 to 20 feet), protective moats and waterfalls themed to look like an actual Asian preserve. The scope of this project included demolition of existing structures and exhibits, site work, foundation concrete, utilities, shotcrete, masonry, structural steel, carpentry, roofing, finishes, exhibit netting and fencing.
