121st Air Refueling Wing Fire Station

This new 19,630 square-foot facility provides emergency response and fire suppression for the Air National Guard and the Columbus Regional Airport Authority’s operations at Rickenbacker International Airport. Located adjacent to and tied into the airport’s runway grid, the new station contains personnel living quarters, a central truck garage/decontamination area, offices, hazardous materials storage and a base communications center. Additionally, the structure has been designed and constructed with materials and techniques that allow it to withstand man-made and natural blast forces.
