Poindexter Place, Phase III

Columbus, Ohio

Poindexter Place, Phase III, is part of an initiative to replace subsidized housing that was beyond its life span. The new residential community provides up-to-date living conditions within the Columbus, Ohio area.

A total of 22 buildings (159 units) were constructed to include 11 garden apartment buildings (122 Units) and 11 townhome apartment buildings (37 Units). The exterior façades are made up of split face block, brick and cement fiber board siding. The roofing consists of membrane and standing seam metal roofing.

This is a sustainable design project where Smoot self-performed the concrete and masonry work and constructed the infrastructure (private utilities and sitework).
