This project involved the construction of a 87,000 square-foot Crate & Barrel Home Store on the grounds of the Tyson’s Corner Center, one of the premier shopping malls on the East Coast. In addition to 44,000 square feet of retail space, the program included 38,000 square feet of underground parking and 5,000 square feet of tenant space.
Unique features of the project included a large underground storm water retention facility, elevated truck parking, upscale interior finishes, two elevators and four escalators, radiused metal roof system, decorative brick and metal wall facade, glass curtainwall, and an extensive earth retention wall system.
