Idyllically located on a five-acre parcel, on the west side of the Purdue University Campus, is the new 387,000-sf Aspire at Discovery Park apartment community. It is Purdue Research Foundation’s first project in the 450-acre Innovation District and kicks off the $1.2B planned development in the area.
Prior to the construction of the community, the location was home to 12 two-story apartment buildings for Purdue University students. These buildings were demolished to make room for the first phase involving three four-story buildings. The new construction comprises of studio apartments and two- and four-bedroom units with the capacity to house 835 beds and 18,000-sf of retail and community space.
The Purdue Innovation District is part of a 15- to 20-year master plan to drive new business and economic growth for students and the surrounding community. Over the next few years, this living-learning environment will expand and provide additional spaces for commercial and non-residential real estate, education and research, hospitality, and collaboration areas for intellectual and innovative entrepreneurs.
