Project consisted of a new 192,000 square-foot, single-story K-12 facility constructed of brick, fluted block, split-face block and EIFS exterior finishes, with rubber and metal shingle roofing. Interior finishes included painted block walls, carpet, and VCT flooring. A new 5,600 square-foot, stand-alone Vocational-Agricultural Building was built adjacent to the main building. The entire project was located on an 100-acre site.
“(Smoot Construction) worked cooperatively not only with the (Ohio School Facilities) Commission, but also with our Board of Education, administration, school personnel and community. It was clearly understood (Smoot Construction) would do whatever it could to allow for our project to be the best in the state.”
